Our Vision
Operation Uniquecorn was founded in January 2020 by Valerie Creviston and Manny Masangcay. These two cousins both have children with invisible disabilities. Val’s daughter Lola has a rare chromosome deletion and Manny’s son Ezra has autism. Both children struggle with various health issues including seizure disorders, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, heart defects, ADHD, and intellectual impairments, yet no physical impairments are noted. Despite these adversities, both Lola and Ezra truly love life and create joy to all those that choose to get to know them.
While at a family party Val and Manny began sharing obstacles that their families have encountered while raising their Uniquecorns. Issues including difficulties within the healthcare system, challenges within the school system, socialization, financial setbacks, lack of knowledge about the future, lack of knowledge about the resources available to name a few. It has been their dream to help their children flourish as well as to help other families like theirs navigate through similar difficulties that they encounter.
